Major: Criminal Justice

Connor Messer appreciates the welcoming atmosphere at Union Commonwealth. A fierce competitor, he once held every record in his events at both Corbin and Midway and hopes to be remembered for his athletic achievements.

His dream is to become a lawyer or work in policing, driven by a desire to make his community better. His favorite class in high school was Law and Order, and his sports inspiration is Jakob Ingebrigtsen. On the road, Connor reaches for gummy bears and a Liquid IV tangerine, while his favorite meal is the Texas bacon, egg, and cheese melt from Waffle House.

Known as a leader among his teammates, Connor is inspired by Coach Jelks, who has made a lasting impact on him. And when he’s not running, he enjoys competing in bowling.
