Union Competes at BCCC Cross Country Jamboree

Results

BEREA, Ky. – The Union Commonwealth University cross country teams competed Saturday at the BCCC Cross Country Jamboree at Alumni Fields.

Men's Results

The Bulldogs finished sixth overall with a total time of 1:35:09, averaging 19:01 per runner, and a team score of 158.

Connor Partin paced UCU, placing 37th with a time of 17:29.8 and an average mile of 5:37.9. Connor Messer followed at 17:46.7 (5:43.3 per mile). Torrean Thornton crossed at 19:04.8 (6:08.4), while Joshua Grubb finished at 19:12.6 (6:10.9). Mike Golden rounded out the squad with a time of 21:36.0 (6:57.1).

Women's Results

Sofia Petz led the women's team with a 58th-place finish, clocking 23:23.7 and averaging 7:31.8 per mile.

Andrea Smith was close behind at 23:45.4 (7:38.7), followed by Jasmine Clouse at 24:40.7 (7:56.5). Kaylee Hall posted a time of 26:18.3 (8:27.9), while Dalicia Jackson recorded 30:14.3 (9:43.9).
