Major: Biology, Pre-Med

Harper Coffey thrives in the welcoming atmosphere of Union Commonwealth University, where the people make it feel like home. A standout on the women’s basketball team, she’s known as a positive leader who works hard to grow both individually and with her teammates, always striving to build a strong team culture.

Off the court, Harper enjoys reading and spending time with her pets — four dogs, two cats, and a turtle. A science enthusiast in high school, her dream is to become a radiologist, inspired by her fascination with X-rays and the rewarding nature of the field. She looks up to basketball star Caitlin Clark for her skill and competitive drive.

Harper’s favorites include Diet Coke, muddy buddies for a road trip snack, TikTok, and Chipotle for a meal. The basketball coaching staff at UCU has reignited her love for the game, making a lasting impact on her athletic journey which Harper describes as a life changing experience. In addition to basketball, Harper is also talented in soccer and softball, showing her versatility as an athlete. Above all, she hopes to be remembered for the positive culture she brings to every team she’s a part of.
