Sarah Charkosky’s favorite part about Union is the friendships she’s made that have turned campus into a second home. With a passion for helping others, she dreams of becoming a physical therapist, where she can make a lasting impact in people’s lives through care and support.

Her favorite subject in high school was science, and she looks up to volleyball icon Nicklin Hames. Sarah enjoys shopping and hanging out with friends in her free time. Her go-to drink is Diet Dr. Pepper, and her top road trip snack is Nerd Clusters. When it comes to food, sushi is her favorite meal, and she prefers TikTok as her favorite social media platform. She has one cat named Smokey.

On the court, Sarah sees herself as an uplifting and dependable teammate, and she hopes to be remembered as someone who is kind and funny. Someone at Union who has made a positive impact on her is Coach Hicks, and outside of volleyball, her second-best sport is basketball.
