Bio

Major: Exercise Science

Skylar Smith values Union for its kind and supportive community. Outside of softball, she enjoys singing. While she’s still exploring her career path, she is considering something in the medical field.

On the field, Skylar is an upbeat, loud, and encouraging teammate who leads by example. Her favorite softball icon is Makayla Edenfield, the Florida State catcher. She enjoys Sprite and BodyArmor to drink, seafood or chicken alfredo for meals, and yogurt-covered pretzels as a road trip snack. Skylar has two dogs, Teddy and Winnie.

Aside from softball, her second-best sport is volleyball, and her third-best is soccer. She hopes to be remembered for her goofiness and her “bomb” personality. An interesting fact about Skylar is that she auditioned for The Voice and American Idol.
