Kinsley Redmon chose Union for its small campus and welcoming professors, as well as the opportunities for students such as FCA, which has been a source of support and balance for her since moving away from home. Outside of softball, she enjoys spending time with family, hosting Bible study at her house, and worshipping the Lord. Kinsley dreams of a career in marketing, ideally for Tiffany & Co., though she also aspires to be a drug representative, all while making a positive impact on others. English was her favorite subject in high school, reflecting her love for communication and creativity.

Inspired by Mia Scott, Kinsley is a natural leader and team player who encourages her teammates while holding them to high standards. Known as the “mom of the team,” she strives to create a positive and supportive environment. She enjoys Orange Gatorade, Coke Zero, and orange V8 juice, as well as beef jerky, garlic parmesan pretzel crisps, pizza, and chicken tacos. At home, she shares her life with her dog, Cooper.

Bubbly and high-energy, Kinsley works hard both on and off the field and hopes to be remembered as a follower of Christ, a positive person, and someone who accepts people for who they are. She credits Coach Hicks for making a lasting impact on her life, and she proudly follows in the footsteps of her sister, who graduated from Union in 2023 and also played third base. If she were to play another sport at Union, Kinsley would choose basketball, which she played from age three through her sophomore year of high school
