Major: Human Performance
Minor: Coaching

Jocelyn Marowelli is a Human Performance major with a minor in Coaching who values the welcoming and uplifting culture at Union. She loves how the campus feels like a close-knit community where everyone supports one another.

Her dream is to one day become a college volleyball coach, where she can mentor and empower young athletes to be the best version of themselves—especially those she sees pieces of herself in. Though her favorite subject in high school was science, Jocelyn’s biggest passion outside of volleyball is music. If she could pursue a second career, it would be in the music world.

Her volleyball icon is Aiko Jones. She enjoys Cosmic Stardust Alani as her favorite drink, snacks on Takis during road trips, and loves sushi. Her favorite social media platform is TikTok. Jocelyn has a full house of pets—three cats and a dog on her mom’s side, and two dogs on her dad’s.

As a teammate, Jocelyn prides herself on being the team cheerleader—always ready to lift others up, especially on tough days. She hopes to be remembered as the happiest presence on the court, someone who led with positivity and joy. A fun fact about her is that she was a theatre kid before volleyball stole her heart. Her second-best sport is track.
