Major: Health and Physical Education

Ashleigh McLeksey chose Union for its friendly, family-like atmosphere, where everyone feels connected and supported. Outside of softball, she enjoys playing pickleball and staying active. Ashleigh dreams of becoming a teacher, inspired by her love of helping others learn and seeing their growth beyond the classroom.

Ashleigh is a kind and encouraging teammate, always willing to support her teammates both on and off the field. She enjoys sweet tea, fruit snacks on the road, and hearty meals like meatloaf with mashed potatoes and green beans. At home, she cares for five pets and shares a close bond with her twin sister. Known for her willingness to help others, Ashleigh credits Mrs. Mills and Mrs. Clouse for their positive impact on her life. If she were to play another sport at Union, she would choose basketball.
