Jackson Crume values Union for its small school atmosphere, where connecting with others feels natural and welcoming. His favorite hobby is playing video games, and his dream job is to become an astronomer, driven by a lifelong fascination with space and other planets.

In high school, his favorite subject was science, and his running inspiration is Grant Fisher. When it comes to road trips, you’ll find him snacking on Pringles and staying hydrated with water. His go-to meal is pizza, and his favorite social media app is TikTok. At home, Jackson has three cats.

As a teammate, he describes himself as quiet, but focused, and wants to be remembered for being a good runner. One person at Union who’s made a positive impact on him is Coach Jelks. Outside of cross country and track, Jackson’s second-best sport is Ultimate Frisbee, reflecting his competitive spirit and agility.
