For Ryan Sheidler, the tight-knit community at Union is what makes campus feel like home. With a passion for helping others, his dream is to become a clinical psychologist—inspired by his own experiences of feeling lost before discovering the field.

Ryan enjoys driving while listening to music as a way to unwind. His favorite subject in high school was math, and his bowling icon is Packy Hanrahan. On road trips, he reaches for cashews and drinks fruit punch, with orange chicken and fried rice topping his list of favorite meals. His go-to social media platform is Snapchat.

At home, he has five cats and one dog. As a teammate, Ryan considers himself critical yet helpful, always aiming to push others to improve. He wants to be remembered for helping others through both bowling and psychology.

A strong influence in his journey at Union has been Coach Doyle, and his second-best sport is baseball.
