For Hunter Cain, the best part about Union is the welcoming atmosphere: “You never feel left out. There’s always someone to talk to or hang out with, and teachers become more like friends.” That sense of connection extends to the lanes, where Hunter considers himself the team captain, leading by example and supporting others.

He dreams of one day becoming an operations manager at a major company—a role where he can improve day-to-day operations and make lasting impacts.

His favorite subject in high school was math, and his bowling icon is Jason Belmonte. In his free time, Hunter enjoys working on his truck or car.

On road trips, he reaches for Bugles and sweet tea, and his go-to meal will always be his mom’s chicken pot pie. He prefers Facebook to stay connected and has one cat at home.

Hunter wants to be remembered for both his impact on others and his contributions to the bowling program. Something unique about him? He’s traveled to several countries outside the U.S., gaining experiences that have shaped his leadership and worldview.

Someone at Union who has made a positive impact on him: Mrs. Robin and Mrs. Amy Tye, both of whom have played meaningful roles in his college journey. His second-best sport is baseball.
