Bio

Major: Biology

Donell Casey is a Biology major who values the supportive community at Union. He appreciates how everyone is there for one another, both on and off the field.

His favorite subject in high school was math. Outside of academics, Donell enjoys watching sports games and has a passion for drawing. His dream job is to become either a physical therapist or a doctor—professions where he can help people and make a lasting impact.

His favorite drink is red Gatorade, and his go-to road trip snack is Dinamitas. His favorite meal is hot wings, and he’s most active on Instagram.

Donell looks up to football star Derwin James. He describes himself as a leader on the field—someone who guides and motivates his teammates. He wants to be remembered as one of the best safeties in the world. His second-best sport is basketball.

Donell credits Coach Kibbs with having a strong positive influence on him during his time at Union, helping shape him into the athlete and person he is today.
