Major: Nursing

Cynthia Davidson is a Nursing major who values the kindness and support she’s found at Union, making it easy to feel welcomed and at home. She enjoys fishing and playing pickleball in her free time and is passionate about helping others, which is why her dream job is to become a Nurse Anesthetist. She’s drawn to the role because of the critical support anesthetists provide in keeping patients calm and comfortable during some of their most vulnerable moments.

Her favorite subject in high school was science, a field she loves for its endless opportunities to learn and discover. On the court, Cynthia looks up to volleyball icon Paige Jones. Her favorite drink is a Strawberry Açaí Lemonade Refresher, and she enjoys caramel popcorn on road trips. A hearty steak and potatoes meal is her go-to favorite, and she likes to scroll through Instagram in her downtime.

Cynthia has three dogs and sees herself as a team leader—someone who supports everyone and always puts others first. She hopes to be remembered for her encouragement and selflessness, always being the one to lift others up. A fun fact about Cynthia is that she did gymnastics for three years. Her second-best sport is track, with soccer coming in third.
