Bio

Major: Business Management and Marketing

Katie Fister is a standout for Union Commonwealth University softball, bringing both talent and leadership to the program. She values the small campus atmosphere that makes Union feel like a family, where everyone knows and supports one another. A supportive teammate and role model, Katie strives to be remembered for her trustworthiness and the positive impact she has on those around her.

Off the field, Katie enjoys traveling, hiking, and working out. She draws inspiration from softball legend Jennie Finch, admiring her continued dedication to the sport and its community. Katie also shares a love for her three dogs and appreciates quality time with them. She has made the most of her time at Union, pursuing her fifth year to earn a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, while crediting Ms. Bergiel for her constant support and encouragement.

With her drive and commitment, Katie represents the Bulldog spirit while preparing for a future career as a human resource manager.
