Major: Psychology
Tyrique Bailey-Edwards feels at home at Union Commonwealth University thanks to its close-knit community. Soccer is his passion, but when he’s off the field, you’ll likely find him listening to music or competing in track and field.
Known among his teammates as the fun one who knows when to get serious, Tyrique hopes to be remembered for his personality both on and off the field. He looks up to Carles Puyol and carries that leadership inspiration into every game.
When it comes to food, Tyrique enjoys a hearty mix of macaroni, dumplings, chicken backs, and okra all in one pot. On road trips, he snacks on cookies, and his drink of choice is blue Powerade. Hailing from Barbados, he credits Coach Shaw with making a significant positive impact on his experience at Union Commonwealth University.
