Bailey-Edwards Earns 2025 NAIA Men’s Soccer All-American Honors

BARBOURVILLE, Ky. — Union Commonwealth University's Tyrique Bailey-Edwards was named to the 2025 NAIA Men's Soccer All-American Third Team, as announced Tuesday by the NAIA.

Bailey-Edwards capped a standout season by also earning Appalachian Athletic Conference Player of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year and Newcomer of the Year honors, while securing a spot on the All-AAC First Team.

A key anchor in Union's back line, Bailey-Edwards helped lead one of the nation's top defensive units. The Bulldogs finished the season with a program-record 0.35 goals-against average, ranking among the NAIA's elite defenses.

Union posted a 14-3-4 overall record and went 9-0-3 in Appalachian Athletic Conference play, remaining unbeaten in league action for the second consecutive season. The Bulldogs captured both the AAC regular-season championship and the AAC Tournament title, securing the program's third regular-season crown and fourth tournament championship.

The sweep marked Union's first time winning both conference titles in the same season since 2016. The Bulldogs have now gone two full seasons without a regular-season conference loss, last falling in AAC play during the 2023 campaign.
