Bio

Major: Sport Management
Minor: Business

DJ Washington is a Sport Management major with a minor in Business. He values Union for its welcoming community and the great people he’s met along the way.

In high school, DJ’s favorite subject was English. His dream is to become a professional NFL player and a personal trainer—careers that allow him to stay connected to football while helping others achieve their athletic goals. Outside of class, DJ enjoys working out to stay active.

His football icon is Jalen Ramsey. DJ’s favorite drink is lemonade, and his go-to road trip snacks are Slim Jims and gummy candy. When it comes to meals, he loves a classic steak dinner. He’s active on Instagram and uses it as his favorite social media platform.

As a teammate, DJ sees himself as a leader by example—someone who works hard and motivates others through his actions. He hopes to be remembered for his relentless work ethic and fearlessness.

Coach kibb has been a major positive influence on DJ during his time at Union. Along with football, DJ’s second-best sport is basketball.
