Bio

 Major: Sports and Recreation

Byron Gee is a Sports and Recreation major at Union Commonwealth University, where he’s known for his strong work ethic and love for the game. His favorite thing about Union is the culture, which he says brings everyone together in a unique and supportive way.

Off the field, Byron enjoys working on old cars and fishing, embracing hands-on hobbies that reflect his focus and patience. In high school, his favorite subject was Social Studies, and his football icon is J.J. Watt—a player known for grit, resilience, and leadership.

Byron’s go-to drink is lemonade, his favorite snack for road trips is dill pickle sunflower seeds, and his top meal is shrimp gumbo. He stays connected through Instagram and hopes to be remembered as someone who always gave his all.

Someone who made a big impact on his journey at Union is Boston Bryant, who’s helped shape his path. While football is his main sport, baseball comes in as a close second.
