Ty Ellis’ favorite thing about Union is the football staff, who he says always look out for their players. His passion for the game drives his dream of becoming a coach, allowing him to stay connected to the sport he loves.

Ty enjoys weightlifting and fishing, and his favorite subject in high school was math. He looks up to football legend Ray Lewis. His favorite drink is Sprite, his go-to road trip snack is Gushers, and he loves a good plate of Alfredo.

Ty uses Instagram the most and has one dog. As a teammate, he sees himself as a leader, always dedicated to the team. He wants to be remembered for his commitment and work ethic.

Someone who’s had a positive impact on him at Union is Coach Bryant, and outside of football, his second-best sport is weightlifting.
