Major: Digital Marketing

Lydia Workman loves the welcoming, small-town feel of Union Commonwealth, which reminds her of home. Outside of cross country, she enjoys going to concerts and listening to music. 

Her dream is to become a cosmetologist and work alongside her mom in her salon. In high school, reading and English were her favorite subjects, and she draws inspiration in her sport from Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone and Nikki Hiltz. Lydia is known among her teammates for her optimism and loyalty, and she hopes to be remembered for her positive attitude. She gives 100% effort in everything she does. 

When she’s not running, Lydia enjoys time with her black cat, Queen, and her second-best sports passions include soccer and cheer. Her favorite treats on the road are Cheddar blasted goldfish, and nothing beats her mom’s pork chops for a favorite meal.
