Major: Criminal Justice

Nomie Jerinic is a Criminal Justice major who appreciates the friendly atmosphere at Union. She’s especially excited about the women's soccer team and the supportive environment created by both students and staff.

Nomie’s favorite subject in high school was PE, and she enjoys staying active, listening to music, and spending time talking and hanging out with friends. Her dream job is to become a criminal detective—or work in any investigative role—because of her passion for solving problems and puzzles while helping others.

She loves drinking water, her go-to road trip snacks are Swedish kvarg and a good Caesar salad, and her favorite meals include Asian food, spicy dishes, Caesar salad, and sandwiches. She’s active on Snapchat and Instagram and has two cats at home.

Her soccer icons are Marta, Messi, and Christen Press. When it’s game time, Nomie describes herself as someone who enters a focused “bubble”—staying locked in on the game but still encouraging her teammates with positivity. Off the field, she’s friendly, calm, and enjoys getting to know everyone. She’s also known to bring a fun burst of energy when the moment calls for it.

Nomie hopes to be remembered not only as a great player and supportive teammate but also as a kind spirit and a genuinely friendly person both on and off the field.
