Major: Health Science & Physical Education

Xavier Owens appreciates Union Commonwealth University’s smaller campus, which allows him to focus and feel at home. Known as a supportive and driven teammate, he brings encouragement and dedication to the team.

Outside of track and field, Xavier enjoys playing basketball. His favorite subject in high school was physics, and he looks up to Usain Bolt as his sport icon. Xavier also participates in volleyball or basketball as his second-best sport and aspires to become a professional sprinter. He hopes to be remembered for the moments people have shared with him and the positive impact he brings to those around him. He also enjoys spending time with his dog, Pharoh.
