CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – Union Commonwealth University's men's basketball team (1-2) fell to NCAA Division I Tennessee-Chattanooga (1-0) Monday night at McKenzie Arena, 92-39.
Junior David Galentine led the Bulldogs with 10 points, while junior Ali Sakho shot 60 percent from the field, going 3-of-5.
How It Happened
First Half: Tennessee-Chattanooga 46, Union 11
Neither team scored in the opening two minutes. The Mocs struck first in the third minute and controlled the rest of the half, outscoring the Bulldogs 46-11 to take a 35-point lead into the break.
Second Half: Tennessee-Chattanooga 92, Union 39
Tennessee-Chattanooga opened the second half with a 12-0 run before Union answered with a 10-3 stretch to make it 61-21. The Mocs continued to dominate, outscoring the Bulldogs 46-28 in the half to secure the 92-39 win.
