Bio

Major: Accounting

Kenton Wright values the peace and quiet that Union Commonwealth University offers, describing it as a refreshing break from city life. Outside of basketball, he enjoys learning about and working on cars, with a dream of one day owning a classic car dealership where he can restore vintage vehicles to their former glory.

Kenton’s favorite athlete is Derrick Rose, and his go-to meal is a six-piece wing from Harold’s or pizza from Beggars. On road trips, he reaches for honey buns and Skittles, and his favorite drink is Sprite. He has a dog named Kash and considers himself a “tough love” kind of teammate who always puts others first.

He hopes to be remembered for his heart of a lion and for playing with a chip on his shoulder. Ms. Gaynor has made a strong positive impact on his time at Union. If he weren’t on the basketball court, you’d likely find him competing in baseball or track.
