Major: Sports Management

Jamarion Gaines is an encouraging presence on the men’s basketball team, always striving to lift up those around him. His family is familiar with the area, making Union feel like a natural fit for his college journey.

Off the court, Jamarion enjoys playing video games, creating content for YouTube and Twitch, and spending time with his two dogs, Journey and Halo. He’s a big fan of Cool Blue Gatorade, Cheez-Its on road trips, and his favorite meal—baked spaghetti with pepperonis.

Stephen Curry is his biggest inspiration in basketball, motivating him to push himself and perfect his game. A math enthusiast with a love for competition, Jamarion also has a background in football.

He dreams of working in marketing for a major sports team or retail company, combining his creativity with strategic thinking. Above all, he hopes to be remembered for the positive impact he makes on others and the bright, insightful personality he brings to every setting.
