Major: Business Management

Sofia Petz loves that Union gives her the opportunity to form friendships with people from all over the world. Originally drawn to the school for its international community, she’s majoring in business management with the dream of starting her own online business—a career path that aligns perfectly with her passion for traveling.

Her favorite subject in high school was French, and her go-to drink is coconut water. On road trips, she keeps it healthy with protein bars, and her favorite meal is anything Asian cuisine. Her cross country icon is Gina Lückenkemper, and she describes herself as a supportive, motivated, and fun teammate who brings energy to those around her.

Sofia hopes to be remembered for her determination and perseverance, saying she wants to be known as someone who never gave up. Everyone she’s met at Union has had a positive and welcoming impact on her experience.

Her second-best sport is gymnastics.
