Lambert takes top spot at the Bulldog Bash

Richmond, Ky. - The Union Commonwealth University women's bowling team began their season at the Bulldog Bash last weekend. The Bulldogs placed fifth overall.

Laila Lambert led the Bulldogs at the Bulldog Bash. She placed first with 792 pins and an average of 198 over four games. She bowled a 201 in three of the games. 

Madelynn Painter followed in eighth place. She had a total of  693 pins with a 173.25 average. Mollie Correll finished 22nd with 465 pins and an average of 116.25. 

Heaven Cooper and Jaydin Lyons placed 24th and 25th. Cooper had 454 pins with a 113.5 average in four games, while Lyons totaled 442 pins and averaged 147.33 in three games.

Up next for the Bulldogs is the Orange and Black Classic on Saturday, Oct. 19.
