COLUMBIA, Ky. — Union Commonwealth University's women's basketball team (0-1) opened the season with a 105-50 loss to Lindsey Wilson (1-0) on Friday night at Biggers Sports Center.
Freshman Kylie Noe helped the Bulldogs off the bench scoring 14 points, shooting 4-of-6 from the field and 6-of-8 from the free-throw line. She also added three rebounds and one assist.
Sarah Smith led the team on the glass with five rebounds, while Aymanni Wynn contributed eight points, shooting 3-of-6 from the floor, including 1-of-2 from beyond the arc and 1-of-2 at the line.

First Half : Lindsey Wilson 62, Union Commonwealth 26
Lindsey Wilson jumped out to an early lead and maintained control throughout the first half. The Bulldogs began to close the gap late in the first quarter, but the Raiders quickly responded to extend their advantage. By the end of the opening frame, Union trailed 32–16. Despite a strong effort, the Bulldogs were unable to slow the Raiders' offensive momentum as Lindsey Wilson continued to pull away before halftime.
Second Half: Lindsey Wilson 105, Union Commonwealth 50
The Raiders continued to dominate in the second half, steadily widening the scoring margin. Union Commonwealth found offensive rhythm at times but was unable to match the pace, as Lindsey Wilson maintained full control to close out the game 105-50.
