Valor Pennington enjoys the people at Union Commonwealth University, appreciating the variety of personalities and the connections he can make. Known as a good teammate, he brings a positive presence to his team both on and off the track.

Outside of track and field, Valor enjoys playing guitar and has a fondness for turtles. His favorite meal is steak and potatoes, and he likes to snack on Skittles with orange juice as his drink of choice during road trips. Valor’s favorite subject in high school was math, and he looks up to Gianmarco Tamberi as his sport icon. He also enjoys playing chess as his second-best sport and credits an old friend for making a positive impact on his life.
