Connor Messer appreciates the atmosphere at Union Commonwealth University, finding the campus environment to be a place where he can grow and stay motivated. On the track and field team, he sees himself as a driven and energetic teammate, someone who brings intensity and commitment to everything he does.

Outside of his sport, Connor enjoys hiking and spending time outdoors. His dream is to become a police officer, driven by a desire to protect and serve his community. Political science was his favorite subject in high school, and he looks up to Cole Hocker as his favorite athlete.

Connor’s favorite drink is Red Bull, his go to road trip snack is gummy bears, and his favorite meal is pasta. One fun fact about him is that he once spent eight hundred dollars at a coffee shop.

Coach Jelks has made the biggest impact on his time at Union, giving him the opportunity to grow into a stronger athlete than he was the year before.
