Major: Exercise Science

Josh Grubb appreciates the welcoming environment at Union Commonwealth University, where the small campus and classrooms make him feel at home. Known as a supportive teammate, he encourages others and consistently gives his best effort.

Outside of track and field, Josh enjoys hiking and lives on a farm where he helps raise deer and elk. His favorite meal is chicken Alfredo, and he likes to snack on Cliff bars during road trips with sweet tea as his drink of choice. Josh’s favorite subject in high school was social studies, and he looks up to Steve Prefontaine as his sport icon. He also enjoys swimming as his second-best sport and credits his Sunday school teacher and former runner for Coach Jelks, Caleb Teague, for making a positive impact on his life.
