Bio

Armando "Trey" Cima, a Corbin, Kentucky native, serves as the Assisant Men’s Soccer Coach at Union Commonwealth University. A 2019 graduate of Corbin High School, Cima was a standout player, earning four All-District selections, three Player of the Year honors, two All-State awards, and multiple All-Region recognitions.

He continued his athletic and academic career at the University of the Cumberlands in Williamsburg, Kentucky, where he competed on the men’s soccer team and earned a degree in Exercise and Sports Science with a minor in Coaching in 2023. He is currently pursuing his master's degree in Human Resource Management at Union Commonwealth University, with an expected graduation in 2025.

Cima brings a strong coaching background, having served as an assistant coach for Corbin High School boys' soccer from 2020 to 2023, helping lead the program to four district titles and three regional championships. He has also been actively involved with Kentucky Rush Soccer Club since 2018, coaching boys and girls teams from U14 to U19. At Union Commonwealth, he helped guide the men’s program to a 2024 Conference Regular Season Championship.

Cima holds a USSF C License and is committed to developing student-athletes both on and off the field.
