Flynn Carmichael is majoring in business management with a minor in Latin American & Iberian studies as he begins his collegiate career at Union. One of the things he enjoys most about the university is its orange and black colors, which remind him of his favorite soccer club back home. Carmichael hopes to one day become a business owner, drawn to the opportunity to lead, make decisions, and build something of his own. As he starts his time at Union, he looks forward to developing both academically and athletically while preparing for a successful future.

Outside of soccer, Carmichael enjoys playing padel and staying active away from the field. Physical education was his favorite subject in high school, and his favorite soccer player is Michael Olise, whose creativity and technical ability continue to inspire him. His favorite meal is prawn curry, while an iced vanilla matcha is his drink of choice. On road trips, he's most likely reaching for Maltesers, and Instagram is his favorite social media platform.

Carmichael describes himself as an encouraging teammate who enjoys motivating those around him and helping create a positive team environment. He hopes to be remembered as a successful man who worked hard to achieve his goals while making a positive impact on others. One interesting fact about Carmichael is that he follows the Scotland men's national soccer team wherever they play, demonstrating his passion for the sport beyond his own playing career. He does not have any pets, and if he weren't playing soccer, he says padel would be his second-best sport. As he begins his journey at Union, Carmichael is excited to embrace new experiences, contribute to the Bulldogs' soccer program, and continue growing both on and off the field.
