Major: Sports Management

Jacob Woods brings dedication and passion to Union’s soccer program. His favorite part of Union is spending time with his friends, which makes the campus feel like a second home. Outside of soccer, Jacob enjoys traveling and is currently learning how to play the guitar, always striving to grow both on and off the field.

Jacob’s dream is to become a Community Outreach Director within sports, combining his love for athletics with a desire to positively impact others. His favorite subject in high school was physical education, and he draws inspiration from soccer icon Cristiano Ronaldo. He stays fueled with iced tea, Reese’s Pieces on road trips, and pizza as his go-to meal. His favorite social media platform is Snapchat.

As a teammate, Jacob considers himself dedicated, always committed to supporting those around him. He hopes to be remembered for helping people and making a lasting impact. Someone at Union who has had a positive influence on Jacob is Mr. Messer, who has supported him throughout his journey. His second-best sport is cricket, showing his diverse athletic interests.
