Akim Soulemana is a Marketing major whose favorite thing about Union is the soccer team, which has helped him grow both as an athlete and a person. His hobbies include going to the gym and watching the NBA, and his dream is to become an entrepreneur—driven by the desire to be his own boss and create his own path.

In high school, Akim’s favorite subject was Physical Education, and on the pitch, he looks up to the legendary Ronaldinho. His go-to drink is water, and when it comes to road trips, you’ll find him snacking on Nerds Gummy Clusters. His favorite meal is fufu, a traditional dish close to his roots, and he’s most active on Instagram.
