Major: Physical Education and Health

Eduardo Ribeiro Jr., a proud Brazilian, plays with passion and joy for Union Commonwealth University’s men’s soccer team, inspired by his favorite player, Giorgian de Arrascaeta. Outside the game, he enjoys the gym, cooking, and eating—especially mango juice, fresh fruit, Chipotle in the U.S., and Brazilian barbecue back home.

Owner of a pitbull named Byron, Eduardo is known as a happy, dependable teammate who always defends his team’s colors. His dreams include working in football, communication, or agriculture, and his favorite subjects are geography and history.

At Union, he’s been positively influenced by Coaches Shaw and Trey, as well as teammate Isa. Away from soccer, he also enjoys swimming and American football. Above all, Eduardo wants to be remembered for the joy he brings to everyone around him.
