Arie Muttaqien is a Business Management major with a minor in Marketing. His favorite thing about Union Commonwealth University is Athletics, which he appreciates for giving student-athletes the opportunity to develop their skills and grow both on and off the field.

When he's not playing soccer, Arie enjoys hiking, and his favorite subjects in high school were English and P.E. His soccer icon is Cristiano Ronaldo, and his go-to drink is water. On road trips, he keeps it light with fruit, and his favorite meals are fried rice and burritos.

Arie is most active on Instagram and sees himself as a helpful teammate. He hopes to be remembered for his kindnessand the way he supported others. Coaches Jonathan Shaw and Trey Cima have had a significant impact on his journey at Union, helping him get to where he is today.

Outside of soccer, Arie also enjoys badminton and tennis as his second and third favorite sports.
