Major: Business Management & Criminal Justice
Dennis Böttcher is a Business Management and Criminal Justice major who values the supportive community at Union, where people look out for one another.
Originally from Germany, Dennis enjoys traveling and cooking in his free time. His dream job is to hold a management position at BMW, combining his love for leadership and high-performance cars. In high school, his favorite subject was Physical Education, and he looks up to Marc-André ter Stegen as his soccer icon.
His go-to drink is water, his favorite road trip snack is pretzels, and his favorite meal is Döner. He’s most active on Instagram.
On the field, Dennis sees himself as a leader and supporter, and he hopes to be remembered for being a good person and a true sportsman. Two people who’ve had a positive impact on him at Union are Jill Musgrave and his coach and mentor, Coach Shaw—who, like Dennis, is also a Union graduate.
Outside of soccer, his second-best sport is American football.
