Union Men’s Basketball Releases 2025-26 Season Schedule

BARBOURVILLE, Ky. – Union Commonwealth University's men's basketball team has announced its 2025-26 season schedule.

The Bulldogs will open the season on the road at Midway on Thursday, Oct. 23, at 7 p.m. That matchup kicks off a three-game road stretch, beginning with a visit to Cumberlands on Tuesday, Oct. 28, at 7 p.m.

Union continues nonconference play in November with two more away games: at Tennessee Chattanooga on Monday, Nov. 3, at 7 p.m., and at Cumberland (Tenn.) on Saturday, Nov. 8, at 4 p.m.

The Bulldogs return to Robsion Arena for their conference home opener against Montreat on Wednesday, Nov. 12, at 7:30 p.m., followed by another home contest versus Bryan on Monday, Nov. 17, at 7 p.m.

Union then hits the road for another three-game swing to close out November. The Bulldogs visit Milligan on Saturday, Nov. 22, at 4 p.m., followed by Pikeville on Tuesday, Nov. 25, at 7:30 p.m. The team wraps the month competing in The Show against Shawnee State on Saturday, Nov. 29, at 6:00 p.m., and IU Kokomo on Sunday, Nov. 30, at 2:30 p.m.

Conference play begins in December, starting at home against Bluefield on Wednesday, Dec. 3, at 7:30 p.m. The Bulldogs then travel to Cleveland, Ga., to face Truett McConnell on Saturday, Dec. 6, at 4 p.m. They return home to host Reinhardt on Wednesday, Dec. 10, at 7:30 p.m., before heading to Knoxville, Tenn., to take on Johnson on Saturday, Dec. 13, at 4 p.m.

The Bulldogs play their final home game of 2025 on Tuesday, Dec. 16, at 4 p.m. against Alice Lloyd. The year ends with three straight road games: Saturday, Dec. 20, at 3 p.m.; Sunday, Dec. 28, at Wofford College; and Tuesday, Dec. 30, at 4 p.m. against Georgetown.

Union opens the new year on the road at Montreat (N.C.) on Saturday, Jan. 3, at 4 p.m. The Bulldogs return home for back-to-back games against Milligan on Wednesday, Jan. 7, at 7:30 p.m., and CIU on Saturday, Jan. 10, at 4 p.m.

Another three-game road stretch follows: at Reinhardt on Wednesday, Jan. 14, at 7:30 p.m.; at Spartanburg Methodist on Saturday, Jan. 17, at 4 p.m.; and at Bluefield on Wednesday, Jan. 21, at 7:30 p.m.

To close out January, Union hosts Tennessee Wesleyan on Wednesday, Jan. 28, at 7:30 p.m., and Johnson on Saturday, Jan. 31, at 4 p.m.

February features two games on the road and two at home to wrap up the regular season. The Bulldogs travel to Bryan on Wednesday, Feb. 11, at 7:30 p.m., and Columbia on Saturday, Feb. 14, at 4 p.m. They finish the month at home, hosting Pikeville on Wednesday, Feb. 18, at 7:30 p.m., and Truett McConnell on Saturday, Feb. 21, at 4 p.m.
