Access Health Players of the Game: Samuel Hawthorne

BARBOURVILLE, Ky. - The Union Commonwealth University football team, in partnership with Access Health, named redshirt senior Samuel Hawthorne as the Player of the Game against Point.

Hawthorne was dominant on defense, recording eight total tackles, including a 6-yard sack and 4.5 tackles for loss. He tallied six solo tackles, two assisted tackles, a forced fumble, and a pass breakup against Point.
