Bio

Major: Marketing and Sport Management

Sean Shooltz appreciates the close community and small-town atmosphere at Union Commonwealth University, where he feels connected both on campus and within his team. A dedicated and team-oriented player, Sean takes pride in his strong work ethic and commitment to helping those around him succeed.

Outside of baseball, Sean enjoys playing disc golf and spending time with his dog. His favorite meal is steak and potatoes, and his go-to snack on road trips is beef jerky, often paired with chocolate milk as his favorite drink.

Sean looks up to Aroldis Chapman as his favorite athlete and hopes to one day coach baseball, turning his passion for the game into a way to help others reach their full potential. An interesting fact about Sean is that he’s a triplet, which has helped shape his competitive spirit and teamwork mindset.
