Union Archery Post Nine-Medal Finish at Collegiate Target Regionals

WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. – The Union Commonwealth University archery team delivered an impressive showing at the 2026 USA Archery Collegiate Target Regionals, earning nine total medals across individual, mixed team and team competition.

The Bulldogs finished the event with three gold medals, four silver medals and two bronze medals, highlighted by a podium sweep in the men's compound division.

Elimination Rounds
Union dominated men's compound, claiming all three podium spots. Kapt Brandt led the way with a gold-medal performance, posting a score of 147. Isaac Sullivan followed closely with a 146 to earn silver, while Sergio Edgar Martinez Cruz added a bronze medal with a matching score of 147.

Zoie Thompson secured gold in women's compound with a score of 145. In men's barebow, Kyle Coffey recorded a runner-up finish, earning silver with a score of 2.

Mixed Team Rounds
The duo of Isaac Sullivan and Zoie Thompson captured gold in mixed compound, defeating Lindsey Wilson with a score of 153. In mixed barebow, Kyle Coffey and Lily Huckerby earned bronze with a score of 6.

Team Rounds
In men's compound team competition, Isaac Sullivan, Kapt Brandt and Sergio Edgar Martinez Cruz combined for a score of 226 to take home the silver medal.

The men's barebow team of Kyle Coffey, John Shelby Stephens and Thomas Ramsey also secured a silver-medal finish, recording a score of 1.

Union's performance at the regional event showcased its depth and consistency across disciplines as the Bulldogs continued a strong outdoor campaign.
