Kason Bennett values Union Commonwealth University for its scenic mountain surroundings and the welcoming community. Outside of archery, he enjoys fishing and has a background in football as his second-best sport. As a dual-sport athlete, he admires Iván Rodríguez and Taylor Gwynette for their skill and leadership.

When it comes to favorites, he enjoys Mountain Dew, Grape Ghost Energy Drink on road trips, and crawfish étouffée. History was his favorite subject in high school, and he shares his home with two dogs, Faye and Nola.

As a teammate, Kason is uplifting, loves laughter, and hopes to be remembered as a good friend and brother to all his teammates. He also has a rich background as a military brat, having lived in many places, which has made him highly social and adaptable. Professors and mentors Jill Mussgrave and Benjamin Luongo have made a positive impact on his journey, and several family and mentor connections—including Carter Finlay, Chase Herndon, Jonathan Stanley, and Evan Hiatt—also inspire him.
