Union archery secures fourth place at the MSC Outdoor Archery Championships 

Williamsburg, Ky. - The Union Commonwealth University archery team recently competed in the Mid-South Conference Outdoor Archery Championships, earning a fourth-place finish overall.

Ranking Rounds

Danica Wiseman led the Bulldogs in the recurve women's division, qualifying 8th overall with a total score of 402.

In the men's recurve division, Sergio Edgar Martinez Cruz secured a 7th-place finish with a score of 681. Kapt Brandt followed closely behind in 8th, also posting a 681. Chase Herndon rounded out the group in 13th place with a score of 673.

Ava Noehre turned in a solid performance in the women's compound division, qualifying in 6th place with a score of 658. Ruthie Masengale finished 14th with a 626, and Allie Riddle placed 17th, recording a 531.

Kyle Coffey stood out in the men's barebow division, earning 3rd place with a score of 518. Johnathan Stanley also landed in the top 10, finishing 9th with a 442.

Baylee McQueen claimed 9th place with a score of 420, while Savannah McLevain finished 17th, shooting a 287.

In the men's fixed pins division, Ryker Jordan qualified 13th with a score of 614. Taylor Qwynette followed in 15th with a 603, and Preston Thompson placed 17th with a 573. Kason Bennett completed the group in 21st with a 499.

Abigail Warren represented the Bulldogs in the women's fixed pins division, placing 16th with a score of 606.

Official Team Rounds

In the men's compound team event, Cruz, Brandt, and Herndon combined for a third-place finish with a total score of 218. On the women's side, Noehre, Masengale, and Riddle secured fourth place with a combined score of 204.

Mixed Team Rounds

Cruz and Noehre teamed up to place fourth in the mixed compound division, finishing with a score of 135. In the mixed barebow event, Coffey and McQueen also earned a fourth-place finish, posting a score of 5.

Rounding out the mixed team performances, Jordan and Warren took fourth in the fixed pins division with a score of 124.

Elimination Round

Masengale earned a fourth-place finish in the women's compound division with a score of 129. In men's barebow, Coffey secured third place, recording a score of 6.
