Head Coach - 2nd Season
Danny Fish enters his third season at the helm of the Lady Bulldogs. In his first two seasons as head coach, Fish has posted a 43-47 mark at UC, while in his head coaching career, he is 202-162 (.555 winning percentage) in nine seasons.

In 2011, Fish's Lady Bulldogs finished 23-28 overall, as UC advanced to the semifinals of the 2011 AAC Softball Tournament. He coached senior Falon Catalano, who was named the 2011 AAC Player of the Year after leading Union at both the plate, and in the pitching circle on the season.

Fish has already taken the softball program to unprecedented heights in his short time on campus, leading Union to its first ever AAC Tournament title (as a number six seed) and appearance in the NAIA national tournament during his first season in 2010.
Fish joined Union after a seven-year run as Maryville (Tenn.) College's head softball coach. He coached 28 All-Great South Athletic Conference players and 14 GSAC All-Freshman players. Fish also produced a 100 percent graduation rate with 39 GSAC All-Academic players. He was a three-time GSAC Coach of the Year (2004, 2007, and 2009) with five regular-season titles (2003-2005, 2007 and 2009). Fish also guided the Lady Scots to the 2007 NCAA Division III National Tournament.

While at Maryville Fish compiled a 159-115 (.580 winning percentage) record. In GSAC play, his squads went 80-30 (.733).

Fish graduated from Tennessee Wesleyan College in 2001 with a degree in physical education after completing his baseball career at the Athens, Tenn., institution. A two-time All-Tennessee-Virginia Athletic Conference selection, he was named to the NAIA's All-Region XII squad in 2000.

Fish started his coaching career at Tennessee Wesleyan as an assistant softball coach for the 2002 campaign. Before attending Tennessee Wesleyan, Fish played at Motlow State (Tenn.) Community College for two seasons.

Fish is also a member of the National Fast-Pitch Coaches Association.
