BARBOURVILLE, Ky. - Union College senior volleyball player Stephanie Pateman recorded her 1,500th career kill in Tuesday's 3-0 home victory over Appalachian Athletic Conference foe Tennessee Wesleyan College.

Pateman, a Weyburn, Canada native, pushed her Union career kills record to 1,501 mark behind a match-high 13 kills. She also served four aces.

Union used scores of 25-17, 25-20 and 25-22 for the win. After the match, Union improved to 13-5 and 9-3 in conference play. Tennessee Wesleyan moved to 6-11 overall and 3-10 in the AAC.

Monica Moreland (Louisville, Ky.) recorded 24 assists while Christina Prindle (Florence, Ky.) was credited with 17 digs.

Amelia Cantrell (Georgetown, Ky.) and Autumn Combs (Florence, Ky.) accounted for three blocks apiece.

Union travels to Virginia Intermont College for an AAC contest next Thursday. The match is scheduled for a 6:30 p.m. start. The Lady Bulldogs took the first meeting 3-0 on Sept. 16.

  • Since joining the AAC, Union is 14-0 against Tennessee Wesleyan.
  • Five different Lady Bulldogs served an ace in the match.
  • Union has a total of nine 3-0 sweeps and six have been in conference play.
