BARBOURVILLE, Ky. - No. 16 Union College seeks to extend its winning streak to six games as No. 18 and Mid-South Conference East foe Georgetown (Ky.) College comes to Burch/Nau Field Saturday for a 1:30 p.m. date.

The Bulldogs (3-0 overall) will be gunning for their best start in program history. This season marks the eighth time in school history Union has started the year 3-0; however, Union is 0-5-2 in the fourth game of the season in years starting with three wins in a row.

Union has won its last five games in a row and seven of its last nine. Additionally, the Bulldogs are going for their third win in a row versus a ranked opponent. Union defeated then-No. 17 Georgetown 28-21 to end the 2007 season, and on Sept. 13, Union upended then-No. 24 Malone (Ohio) College 35-28.

Georgetown is 1-1 on the season.

This is the MSC East opener for both teams.
