BARBOURVILLE, Ky. - Terence Pollock and Jacob Appleby combined to score all of Union College's points in Saturday's 23-13 victory at Faulkner (Ala.) University, earning them the Mid-South Conference Offensive and Special Teams Players of the Weeks honors, the league announced Monday.

In the three weeks the Mid-South Conference has named the Players of the Week, the Bulldogs have had four of the nine recipients. Pollock (Orange Park, Fla.) was tabbed the Offensive Player of the Week on Sept. 8 while Willie Williams (Miami, Fla.) was the Defensive Player of the Week honor that week as well.

Pollock had a career day, rushing for 198 yards and two touchdowns on 20 carries. On the Bulldogs' first offensive play of the game, the junior running back galloped 97 yards for a touchdown - the longest scoring run for Union since a 99-yard sprint in 1998. Pollock added a 16-yard scoring run in the fourth quarter en route to the 10-point victory.

On the season, Pollock has rushed for 400 yards and three touchdowns on 63 carries, averaging 6.3 yards per rush. He ranks fourth on the program's all-time rushing list with 1,773 career yards.

Appleby, a freshman from Harvest, Ala., connected on three field goals and two PATs to account for 11 points Saturday. The three field goals were of distances of 22, 34 and 22 yards and tie the school record for most field goals in a game. Appleby is the fourth Bulldog to boot three field goals in a game, joining James Hager, Junior Distefano and Jeremy Macejewski. Macejewski accomplished the feat three times during his career.

For the season, Appleby is 5-for-6 on field goals with a long of 34 and is a perfect 10-for-10 on PATs. He leads them team in scoring with 25 points.

Union (3-0 overall) returns home Saturday to play host to Georgetown (Ky.) College at 1:30 p.m.
