BARBOURVILLE, Ky. - Union College's Christina Prindle was selected as the Appalachian Athletic Conference Libero of the Week, the organization announced Monday.

Prindle, a Florence, Ky. native, played in all four matches for Union last week and totaled 63 digs in 14 sets. Her 22 digs against Bryan marked a season high for the junior. She also served five aces which were the most by any Lady Bulldog during the week.

This is not the first AAC volleyball award for Prindle. She was honored with the conference's Setter of the Week last November.

Union went 2-2 overall last week and 1-1 in AAC play. The Lady Bulldogs enter Tuesday's home contest against King (Tenn.) College with an overall record of 5-3.
