BARBOURVILLE, Ky. - Union College sophomore Aaron Miller recieved the Appalachian Athletic Conference Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week honor, the organization announced Monday.

Miller helped Union to a 1-1-1 record last week. The Cincinnati, Ohio native did not score during the week, but did kick in a goal during the shoot out against Cumberland (Tenn.) University in the Golden Corral Bulldog Classic Championship match.

This is the first week of the AAC Player of the Week Men's Soccer awards of the season. Union had an AAC Offensive Player of the Week last year when Daniel Perez brought the award home on September 10.

Union enters Tuesday's home match against Warren-Wilson (N.C.) College with a 2-1-2 record.

Julian Allgerier of Covenant (Ga.) College was the conference's Offensive Player of the Week.
